And you thought Deicide was fast? Morbid Angel was complex? Wait till you hear this band from Brazil. A churning maelstrom of furious riffing and warp speed drumming, these maniacs just blow you away from the word go.They seem to be primarily influenced by Slayer, as can be easily made out from the song "Kings Of Killing",but the intense blast beats just take it to a different level altogether. The tempo hardly ever seems to slow down, and the guitar work too is really good.Hell, some of the solos on this might make Malmsteen go and whimper in a corner. However this album is totally unsuitable for those who are not yet acquainted with extreme metal, coz the songs just blur past at hyper speed and it requires quite a few listen to decipher each song in it’s full complexity. Standout tracks are "Aborticide",which has quite astounding drumming to propel it forward and "Rites Of Defamation",which could have been a Slayer song(circa-reign in blood) at half it’s speed! Almost all the songs are crammed with great fast riffs, and it is quite evident how proficient these Brazilians with their instruments. A must have for anyone into extreme metal.
