The thing that scares me the most about Endorama is the fact that people say they like it!,has everyone forgotten the true Kreator? was I the only one that lost his mind when tracks like "Tormentor","Under The Guillotine","Coma Of Souls" and "People Of The Lie" were searing through my then pitiful 70 watt stereo system? you cant tell me that when electronic flavored tracks come wafting through the speakers, that the watered down and melodic tunage being spewed forth by Mille and co is inspiring enough to get a "hell yeah" out of anybody that was there during the violent hey day of the German thrash explosion. I can appreciate a band wanting to progress and modernize their sound but when they forsake the elements that make them an institution and an inspiration,its time to either change the name or in this case..give up the damn fight! when Endorama rolls around(that’s the fitting word!)the final blow to put this weathered soldier out of commission is dealt by the driving force behind Kreator..Mille Petrozza himself and his new found desire to actually try and sing!! not an occasional phrase here or there,no,the man gives it his best shot at an ongoing tuneful croon in key!!. Its quite sickening really that the music follows suit as Kreator (or the evil drones posing as the mighty Kreator),strips away their once pleasing aggression in favor of simplified pop structures and soothing moments of keyboard laced pop. Sorry,but this album demonstrates that emotive songwriting isn’t Kreators forte, you should be equally repulsed as I at the blasphemy at hand.Take a sterile/machine like drum performance, Swedish inspired moments that lean heavily into fragile melodies and you have a non-threatening formula all so graciously covered in candy coated shell. By having both Tommy Vetterili( guitar god and Coroner visionary)and Ventor at his disposal,Mille should be taking this band back to the top of the retro appreciating speed/thrash metal heap and doing what they do best..technical and devastating thrash that burned 10 times hotter than any ember piled in the pits of hell. Kreator brought the oppressive wall tumbling down in Germany while raging at the Noise Int. metal festival, now with them exploring some pop inspired,radio friendly,emotion conscious,wannabe metal the only thing that Kreator is capable of bringing down is the remains of my last nights dinner from my lower intestine into my bowels!!!..you know what??? life is bad enough already! curse you Mille Petrozza..we want our Kreator back!!!!!!
