Earache’s Epic Deathster’s Garden of Shadows’s debut album after their cult following demo called ‘Heart of the Corona’, is yet another masterpiece which this band has been able to produce. The band has been able to produce something really memorable and epic through the use of extreme aggression and melodious rhythm. The album kicks of with the title track, a 9 minute slaughter with tempo shifts and guttural vocals. The next in line is the ‘Citadel of dreams’, one of the standout tracks of the album. The tracks has the all the elements of a metal classic such as heavy drumming, death vocals, catchy, melodious riffs and fantastic keyboard work. Next is an intro, ‘Into Infinity’ to another song with journeys into the celestial infinity called ‘Dissolution of the forms’. Following this is yet another epic song ‘Continuum’. The other standout track is ‘Desert Shadows’ which shows the musical prowess of the band by effective use of heavy guitars and drum machine. The band’s lyrical focus is more on cosmic and celestial topics which have been brought to form through their melodious catchy riffs, brutal vocals, heavy use of twin guitars and restrained keyboards.
