After the success of the Rocktober (Season 1) last year, and an immense response to the second season of another signature event “D-Cube”, Unified Shimla Musicians (USM) is back with the 2nd season of Rocktober. Unified Shimla Musicians (USM) is a Shimla based NGO founded in August 2010, which is very concerned about positive talent promotion. USM has been organizing various gigs and events, giving a platform to many upcoming bands from the region. USM also deals in brand publicity, local music promotion, event infos, awareness campaigns, drug demotion and spreading social awareness through music. USM has given many good bands, like I Quit, Sones Aura, Area 231, Blackheart etc first chance to perform in the hills. They have also successfully launched bands like Elvish Mirage and Zenith, all girls band from Shimla, with members studying in the 8th std. only. This time USM is ready to launch NH22, another upcoming band from DAV New Shimla.

Rocktober (Season 1) had joint winners last year, Hollow Souls and Area 231. Area 231, later on, went to become Channel [v] Launchpad 4’s finalist band.

Rocktober (Season 2) comes with a theme of “Celebrating Music, Defying Drugs“, and is supposed to be held on October 22nd in St. Thomas School, who are in midst of the ongoing celebration of their school’s 100 glorious years.

USM has been successful in bringing some of the best bands and few talented upcoming bands from the region under one roof for the music lovers in this festive season.

Rosez On Ashez, The Ear Split, Blackheart and Elvish Mirage, all four of them are going to be at their best and new avatars this time. Each band is ready with a surprise performance!
