Swedish “ambidjent” metal band ‘Vildhjarta‘ is looking forward to their first show in India at Rockshow – Saarang ’12, at Open Air Theatre, IIT Chennai on 21st January.

Often touted to be one of the most innovative djent bands around the globe, Vildhjarta is considered as the next big thing since Meshuggah. Their music is characterised by harmonic minor riffs that set the ambience with the layers of reverberant guitars. And if this wasn’t enough, the gig includes 3 of the biggest Indian metal bands, which includes Post-Hardcore heavyweights from Mumbai ‘Scribe‘, which were recently nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards. The next band is Chennai based metal band ‘Blind Image‘ who has opened for ‘Cradle of Filth’ in 2011. Last, but surely not the least, is the Death metallers from Bangalore ‘Inner Sanctum‘ who recently opened for Metallica. The opening acts are by the Decibel finalist.
