EVOLUTION pretty much sums up the journey we’ve been on since ‘Blinding White Noise’, and we feel it’s the perfect introduction to our second album. SKYHARBOR released their debut album ‘Blinding White Noise : Illusion & Chaos‘ on April 23rd, 2012 via Basick Records to glowing praise from fans and press alike. It proved to be a landmark album within the Indian independent music scene, in no small part thanks to the incredible number of international guest appearances it featured, including the likes of Marty Friedman (ex Megadeth), Daniel Tompkins (ex TesseracT), Vishal J. Singh (Amogh Symphony) and Sunneith Revankar (Bhayanak Maut). Tompkins has since joined the band on a permanent basis as vocalist.
The band have gone on to win several awards from Rolling Stone Magazine whilst securing several worldwide festival appearances and tours including supporting Lamb of God. The follow up album, as yet untitled, will be released via Basick Records in late 2014, following on from their Metal Hammer Golden God Award nomination and Download Festival appearance this weekend and Graspop later in the month.
