Russian Ethnic metal band Kartikeya is working on their new album these days, to be called ‘Samudra’, which will be released later this year. For the time being, they have released a song “The Horrors Of Home” from their forthcoming album over their YouTube Channel.
The theme of the song is pretty much society-related and it is based on the fact that unfortunately most of the people who have ‘power’ in a global sense, use it in order to harm and actually enslave ordinary people and use helpless human resource only for their own benefit, without even giving anything (or just making an illusion of giving) in return.
The track was recorded in Arsafes Records in Moscow, Russia, mixed and mastered by Kartikeya’s guitarist/mastermind Roman Arsafes Iskorostenskiy himself. The song also includes some noteworthy guests – Keith Merrow and Aleksandra Radosavljevic (Above The Earth, ex-Destiny Potato).
You can read the lyrics and buy the song from band’s BandCamp Page.
