Indian Deathcore band DARK HELM has released a music video for their song “Origins II” from their debut album ‘Persepolis’.
The video was shot as part of the prize for winning the Red Bull Bedroom Jam which the band won.
“The day we got to know that we were the RBBJ (Red Bull Bedroom Jam) west zone winners, we were ecstatic. A part of the winnings, among other things, was that we get to shoot a music video to any of our song. It was the perfect timing for us as we were on the verge of releasing our debut album PERSEPOLIS” said keyboardist Aniketh Shankar.
The video was shot at local venue B69 by Jack In The Box Productions.
“Being musicians who are very shy of the camera, we were dreading the moment when we start with the first take. However, as soon as we reached Mumbai and were briefed about how the shoot was going to happen, we knew that it was going to be a very good experience. The whole crew was on the same page as us about how we wanted to approach the video. The shoot went on for about 7 hours, during which we covered the song so many times that it felt awfully silent after the pack up. But seeing the result that we got in return, I really do believe that each and every second of the shoot was worth it” said drummer Ninad Ingulkar, before adding “Now we can’t wait to shoot the next music video.“
‘Persepolis’ has been released worldwide via ITCHY METAL ENTERTAINMENT and is available at all digital music stores. The physical CD can be bought at Bajaao.com
