Shimla based heavy metal band, DEATHKNELL, have released their first official music of the song ‘Defining Death‘. The single comes from their debut album ‘Still To Decide‘ which was released in October 2012 and was streamed exclusively on MetalIndia Magazine. The video was shot at ‘Chaidra ka nal’ (a waterfall some 45 minutes on foot from Shoghi on Tara Devi temple road). The video has been filmed by Snow Leopard Productions – a film production house based in Shimla.

When asked why this song, vocalist Manish said “We chose this song because of its popularity around and because it has god a good pump to it, you know its has got quite a catchy riffs and breaks and has got quite a good guitar solo too”. He continues “Concept behind this song is that in everyday life human being feels battered up by many difficulties and situations and he kinda want his life to end but when he really watch the death coming near he runs for it and try to survive somehow but death takes you anyway, That’s what the song is about , as in the video a naked guy is summoning death, then a strange guy shows up carrying an axe in his hand and as he cuts the goat head apart that guy gets scared and he run for his life and that axe guy is actually a reaper who takes him anyway.”
