Kolkata based hard rock/heavy metal band, GYPSY, released their official music video of the single ‘Turned Into Stone‘ from their upcoming debut ‘Twisted Levity‘. The EP was recorded at Pentatonic Studio, Kolkata with Tushar Banerjee behind the recording consoles. The band prefer calling themselves Hard Rock band with influences from Heavy Metal, Glam Metal to 70s psychedelic rock. The EP features 5 tracks with different flavors ranging from 80s metal track “Gimme Your Load”, melodic heavy metal “Turned Into Stone” to shock rock “The Shoemaker”.

Transcending Obscurity India will be releasing the debut ‘Twister Levity’ (Limited Edition). Kunal Choksi explains, “Gypsy is a new but very promising and fun act. I’d love to spread its music through the label, but on a different level. This way even smaller and newer bands can get the platform and shows along with the bands signed to the TOI label.”
