Greetings to all the avant-garde and industrial music fanatics. Guwahati based Industrial/Avant-Garde/Rock project artist Axl Hazarika, has released their new album. The album is titled “Elektrokore 1“, it consists of some of the old songs, which haven’t been released yet, along with new compositions. It begins with a short tribute to the founder of the Indian Independent scene, Amit Saigal.
“From all the years that I’ve been learning about music, the walls of my room have been adorned with RSJ posters. And I am a proud owner of a pile of RSJ mags. May his soul rest in peace and amidst rock ‘n’ roll.” – Axl Hazarika
After a run of seven tracks, the album ends with the cover of a song, originally composed by his brother “Montu da a.k.a Sickman inc.”, which greatly inspired Axl Hazarika to venture into industrial music.
About the album, all Axl Hazarika had to say was, “I hope the true fans of avant-garde & industrial music like the songs and about others (disliking/disapproving the songs or maybe the genre) will not be a matter of my concern.”
