After Chennai and Bangalore, Albatross is proud to launch their second EP- The Kissing Flies as part of their nationwide tour in… their very own city. Watch them take the stage with their favourite bands, as well as special friends who’ve been part of team Albatross over the years.

Albatross
Albatross is a band which combines bone chilling stories with bone crushing metal. The band started out as the solo project of bassist Riju Dasgupta(Workshop, Old Monks), who wanted to marry his love of literature with his other love- metal. Later on, a lineup of like-minded musicians was standardised and hence Albatross was born. The current Albatross lineup has already started work on their next album, which promises to bring a new dose of fear into your lives. So be scared…be very scared.

‘Varcas’ , which is a sanskrit word, simply suggests Vital Power which is the key essence to life and the band hopes to spread this power through their music. With brutal drums beats accompanied by aggressive guitar riffs & vocals that progress with guitar solos & keyboard patterns the band will take you on a ride through Indian Mythology with music that can not only wreck mayhem in the moshpit but also send the crowd into a subtle melodic trance.
