EVILUTION, a gig to take place at ION BAR and KITCHEN , Brigade Road, Bangalore on Sunday, 02nd June 2013. The gig featuring 6 metal acts with variety of genres. Check band line-up below:

Threinody– Thrash Metal
A 3-piece thrash metal act from Bangalore formed in 1996, who along with Kryptos and Myndsnare from Bangalore metal scene from 1990 uptill 2000s. Since then,  The band had performed at various places around the country. Though, the band was inactive from 2007 to 2012. After they came back they performed at nh7 weekender 2012, Bangalore as Bangalore Metal Project which was 3 members of  Threniody along with members of Kryptos and Myndsnare.

Albatross– Horror Metal
The Heavy/Horror Metal act from Mumbai started off as the solo project of Riju Dasgupta(Workshop, Old Monks) who wanted to marry is love of literature with his other love Metal. Then, a line-up of like-minded found each other and hence Albatross formed and seen their way to studio for recording its first ever EP ‘Dinner Is You‘, written on the concept of cannibalism and the kuru disease. Since then band is active in live circuit and had performed many gig around in India. Recently released another EP ‘The kissing Files‘ as part of a split CD with american doom metal band Vestal Claret. This may be Albatross’s last gig before they take break for writing new material.

Bhoomi– Heavy Metal
5-piece Heavy Metal act from Bangalore formed back in 2002. Since than, Band is been active in the Bangalore metal scene and had performed in numerous gigs across city. The band had a dream start after winning their first competition as Strawberry fields 2002 and then winning the same competition for 2 more years. The band has performed in various music gigs and festivals took place in Bangalore. The band is currently working on their first ever release with the grammy nominated producers of Nevermore.

Djinn & Miskatonic– Doom Metal
4-piece Doom Metal act from Bangalore started by Jayaprakash Satyamurthy in 2011. After spending time from 1990s to 2000s with various bands of Bangalore metal scene  Jayaprakash started finally decided to start a band and as, he was taking care of bass, recruited other 3 members of the band till the end of 2012 and performed in various gigs around Bangalore till now which includes Tarnslughter Fest II, Dis Organised and More. In 2013, the band is hoping to release few originals and have recorded a tribute song for Motorhead India.

Dark Desolation– Satanic Black Metal
5-piece Satanic Black Metal act from Bangalore formed in July 2010. Since, Inception band had performed in various metal gigs across Bangalore and Chennai and also have shared stage with Indian metal gaints including Kryptos, Bevar Sea and More. The band released the first single in 2011 and their first Demo EP in 2012. Since than, various tracks from EP are been featured in many Nationally and Internationally released CD compilations which also includes Metal Hammer – Razor, CD in August 2011 and more.

Neolithic Silence– Melodic Thrash Metal
4-piece Melodic Thrash Metal act from Bangalore formed in January 2004 as a college band by Jayanth(ex-Corrode) and Parany. Since then, band was completed by the member from the acts like myndsnare, Verses and Munity. band and has been perfroming in many gigs in the city till now. They are working on the recording for their material.

Gig will have Specially printed Merchandise Designed for the Event. The design can be seen on the passes.
