Bangalore Open Air (BOA) 2013 announced, SODOM, German thrash metal act as fifth international act. Hailing since 1983, the 3-peice metal act swinging their mighty axes, standing alongside KREATOR and DESTRUCTION as the reigning overlords of German Thrash. The trio will be performing in india for the first time alongside IHSAHN, LEPROUS, DARK TRANQUILITY and ANIMALS AS LEADERS.

BOA organizers announced on festival’s official Facebook page by saying:

“If you thought we were getting soft, you have another bullet coming at you right between the eyes. Presenting live at Bangalore Open Air for the very first time we give you the ultimate German war machine, SODOM.

Any thrash fan worth his tattered patched up denim jacket should get on their knees and crawl through barbed wire and pay homage to a band that is the very definition of pure skull smashing thrash metal. With some of the most seminal albums in metal history like the cult classics Agent Orange, Tapping the Vein and Persecution Mania tucked away in their mighty arsenal, Sodom are one of the most uncompromising and extreme acts to ever emerge from the German trenches.
