TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY India announces the release of the Bangalore Doom Metal band DJINN AND MISKATONIC‘s first full-length release titled ‘Forever in the Realm‘.

Founder/Manager Kunal Choksi of Transcending Obscurity states, “I’m extremely pleased with the professional attitude of Djinn and Miskatonic guys, who’re my friends, and I couldn’t think of a better timing for this release. It’s unique and focused, with care taken in every aspect of this release – from production to presentation – and it’s a pleasure to work with these guys.”

Djinn and Miskatonic adds, “Transcending Obscurity India’s offer to release our first album came in at just the right time. We’d finished recording our material and were preparing for the long, hard haul of releasing and marketing it. ‘Forever in the Realm‘ will be available in physical (CD) and digital formats in September 2013.

DJINN AND MISKATONIC is one of the most unique Doom Metal bands. Merging Doom Metal with styling of Sludge, Stoner and even Death/Doom Metal, ‘Forever in the Realm’ is an exploration of all that is eldritch and dark. No two songs are same, each one crafting its own gritty tale of witchcraft, high adventures and alcoholic excesses.
