Chandigarh based Groovecore/Deathcore band ‘Blackheart‘ was formed about an year ago, by a bunch of teenage metalheads. After their first gig on 31st Jan, 2011, they never looked back. Since then, Blackheart has conquered many stages and moreover heart and mind of the metalheads in Chandigarh-Shimla region. Not to forget, all the band members are still teenagers.

Arshdeep Singh – Bass (16 years)
Rahul Sharma – Drums (14 years)

After winning many gigs and gaining a cult following in the Chandigarh-Shimla region, the band will be releasing its debut EP ‘Anti-Corruption‘ on the very first day of the next year i.e. 1st January, 2012. The EP was previous named ‘Downgate’, but it was rejected due to no connection of this name with the lyrics and theme of the EP.

The EP will be having following three tracks:
1. A Silent Vive
2. Death By Poison
3. Do Not Panic

The artwork has been designed by Lead guitarist, Abhishek himself, and the EP has been recorded at Powerhouse Studios, Delhi, owned by the drummer of Colossal Figures
