After announcing IHSAHN as first international metal act, Bangalore Open Air(BOA) 2013 has announced LEPROUS, a progressive metal outfit from Norway as the second international act of this year. Hailing from Norway, LEPROUS will be playing their Indian Debut and is also the backing band for the mighty IHSAHN at Bangalore Open Air 2013.

About the band, organizers described them by posting the announcement on Facebook page of the concert saying “Coming off the back of their eccentric and downright surreal 2013 release ‘COAL’ Leprous are primed to take the prog world by storm with their off kilter post rock combined with hair raising progressive metal that brings to mind some of the bizzaro musings of the mighty King Crimson, Voivod and their countrymen Winds. Don’t let their clean cut image fool you. These 5 blokes from Norway have cut their teeth backing some of metal’s finest such as Ihsahn and Therion and are sure to make jaws drop with their technical wizardry and soaring vocal harmonies.”
