BANGALORE OPEN AIR(BOA) 2013 announced, ICED EARTH, American heavy metal act as sixth international and also headliner of this year’s BOA. The American legends were to co-headline last year’s BOA alongside KREATOR, but were forced to cancel their performance due to denial of visas from Indian Embassy. Are now, ready to swing their axes for the first time in India in this year’s BOA alongside SODOM, ISHAHN, LEPROUS, DARK TRANQUILLITY and ANIMALS AS LEADERS. We tried to bring them to India last time around but unfortunately various planetary forces did not combine in our favor. However, this time around we won’t let anything stand in our way to bring one of the foremost beacons of in the metal kingdom to India. We give you the absolutely iconic ICED EARTH. 

Fresh on the heels of one of their strongest releases in some time, the fantastic Dystopia, Jon Schaffer and co. will be proudly flying the flag for metal at Bangalore Open Air 2013. Cementing their place as one of the elite forces in metal and one of the most hard working bands on the planet, Iced Earth are set to unleash their eleventh studio album Plagues of Babylon in October 2013 followed by a mammoth world tour in the following months. Unwavering and steadfast in their quest to carry on the tradition of pure heavy metal laid down by metal legends like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, Iced Earth have been forging a path of their own for almost 25 years with trailblazing albums like Night of the Stormrider, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Dark Saga and their gargantuan tour de force Burnt Offerings.
